TweetMic is a brainchild of some creative minds at Voicetal LLC. Voicetal has focused on voice related technologies, phone systems, web app development and scalable network infrastructure solutions.

We are a privately funded startup company located in Utah. Our TweetMic iPhone app allows Twitterers to record audio and post to Twitter. The idea is simple. Each media format has it's own advantages. Voice recordings capture something greater than can be said in 140 characters and can be more vivid than even photos. Radio hosts sometimes say that radio is the most visual medium. Auditory experience has the ability to stir the imagination and describe in visual terms something like a good novel would. It's all about the story. Short audio clips can give you a sense of presence not available in other media. Being able to report from a situation directly can be very immersing and less intrusive than video and texting. Adding audio to breaking world events on Twitter will change the way we experience the world through Twitter.

We hope we can change the world, once audio clip at a time. Of course we can't. But you can.
